NAFOWA LITTLE ANGELS’ SCHOOLS
One of the legacies of NAFOWA is her group of schools located all over the country and these schools are called NAFOWA Little Angels’ School wherever they are. The schools are divided into National and Units. Presently, there are three National NAFOWA Little Angels Schools in Lagos, Kaduna and Abuja. While the schools on the unit level exist in almost every unit where there is the Nigerian Air Force. The unique thing about these schools is that their curriculum, uniforms and books are the same to ensure that even in the event of a transfer of parents to another NAF unit, the children will not need new uniforms and books. A task force on NAFOWA Little Angels was also constituted and it was headed by Mrs. Tosin Faloyin. Other members include Mrs. Awarun, and Mrs. Ogunseitan. This task force has since become the NAFOWA Little Angels' education committee. Their mandate was the upgrade of both the educational and infrastructural facilities of the various NAFOWA Little Angels Schools. They have carried out this duty and done their best to make NAFOWA Little Angels’ Schools the best amongst the rest in their various locations. A lot of renovation has gone on, while Abuja which is the newest was commissioned in May 2007, the two older schools in Lagos and Kaduna have undergone extensive renovation during the tenure of Mrs Sade Dike. Two new classroom blocks were added to the Lagos School in 2007 and 2008, mainly to dicongest the existing classrooms. Playground toys were purchased for all schools and training of teaching staff is a continous process.
