I am delighted to welcome you to the website of the Nigerian Airforce Officers’ Wives Association (NAFOWA).
 
Membership of the Nigerian Air Force Officers’ Wives Association is voluntary and open to the wives of all serving officers. Our motto is “Service to Humanity” and we aim to help ourselves and other members of the public through the various activities and projects we undertake, which are of a social and humanitarian nature.

In the hierarchy of NAFOWA, the Association is headed by the National President (the wife of the Chief of the Air Staff), and assisted by the National Vice President (wife of the Air Officer Operations). We have three NAFOWA Commands each headed by the wife of the Air Officer Commanding the Commands. Under the Commands, there are various units headed by the wife of the Commander of the unit. The National President also works with some members and they make up the executive arm of the National body of NAFOWA.

When I took over the leadership of NAFOWA, I thought it necessary to make our presence felt not only in the Nigerian Air Force Circle but also among other well meaning people. This has made it very important for NAFOWA to own its own website especially in this era of ICT where the world is one global village.

The website will give an overview of NAFOWA, her activities, picture of various events and the highlights of some of our achievements including visits to Orphanages, Old Peoples Home, Donations to the sick and under privileged in line with our motto which says, ‘Service to Humanity’.
